In Australia, the Toyota Kluger comes in three main grades: GX, GXL, and Grande, all with seven seats so the school run doesn’t need a spreadsheet.
Powertrains are a choice of a conventional petrol with 2WD (FWD) or optional AWD, or a Hybrid AWD (e‑Four) across the range for those who prefer sipping fuel to guzzling it.
The petrol uses an automatic transmission, while the hybrid pairs a four‑cylinder with an e‑CVT; either way, it does family‑SUV things without drama.
Spec ladders behave as ever: GX brings the essentials, GXL adds comfort kit, and Grande piles on the flash with more safety tech and nicer trim.
Choose seats and drivetrain first, then worry about the toys—your budget (and patience) will thank you.
