toyota landcruiser prado configurations

The Toyota LandCruiser Prado in Australia comes in familiar trims: GX, GXL, VX, and Kakadu, each adding more kit and comfort as you climb.

Seating is 5 seats in GX (7 optional) and 7 seats standard on GXL, VX, and Kakadu, ideal for kids, dogs, and camping gear you swear you needed.

Most models run a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel with about 150 kW/500 Nm, full-time 4WD and low range via an automatic transmission.

Expect a braked towing capacity around 3,000 kg, enough for a caravan unless your caravan has its own postcode.

Upper trims add nicer interiors and extra off-road toys, while GX/GXL keep it honest with tough, cleanable finishes.

Consult official documentation for exact figures.
