Short version: there’s no Toyota “Prime” in Australia—neither the RAV4 Prime nor the Prius Prime is sold here new.

Toyota Australia sticks to conventional hybrids (RAV4 Hybrid, Corolla Cross Hybrid, Camry Hybrid) and gives PHEVs the cold shoulder for now, which is about as on‑brand as decaf coffee.

If you’re set on a plug‑in, look at the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, MG HS +EV, or Kia Sorento PHEV, or brace for the joys of a private import.

Grey‑import Prius Prime examples do pop up, but parts/support can be patchy and resale a bit of a lottery.
