Ah, the mythical Toyota wait times of 2023—roughly as predictable as a kangaroo on a trampoline. Due to the delightful global chip shortage and pandemic-induced chaos, expect waits anywhere from 3 to 9 months for popular models like the Hilux or RAV4, especially in hot colours or with fancy extras. New car buyers should brace themselves with patience, or perhaps consider checking out used options on Tradingpost or CarShowroom to dodge the queue.
Remember, these delays vary wildly by dealer location and model popularity, so always confirm with your local Toyota dealer or peek at ServiceCentral for updates.
