Transferring car registration in Queensland is about as straightforward as a kangaroo in a phone booth. You need to complete the transfer application form, pay the transfer fee (around $33), and ensure the vehicle has a current safety certificate. Both buyer and seller must submit their details to the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, and the buyer has 14 days to finalize the transfer after purchase. Don't forget to check if there are any outstanding fines or toll debts attached to the vehicle—those little gremlins love to bite.
