vehicle inspection report victoria Page 3

In Victoria, a Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) is your official ticket to proving that your motorised beast is roadworthy and safe. It's typically required during vehicle transfers, registration renewals, or when requested by VicRoads. The inspection covers essential systems like brakes, steering, suspension, lights, and emissions. Expect the report to detail any faults or areas needing attention.

Costs can vary, generally around $50 to $150 AUD depending on the inspection type and provider. If you're hunting for a certified inspection, places like ServiceCentral or local VicRoads-approved mechanics are your go-tos. Remember, a clean VIR is your escape from nasty fines or registration rejection.
