vic 1 number plate price Page 8

VIC 1 isn’t a run-of-the-mill plate with a checkout button; it’s a heritage number traditionally assigned to the Governor of Victoria, so it’s not on the market.

There’s no “new price” because you can’t buy it new; as a collectible “used” asset, experts reckon it would fetch multiple millions of AUD if it ever went to auction.

For context, lower two‑digit Victorian plates have sold for seven figures, and single‑digit plates in other states have reached multi‑million territory.

Short version: priceless in practice, eye‑watering in theory—and sadly not something you can add to cart.
