vic p plate car restrictions Page 6

Ah, the joys of being a provisional driver in Victoria—where your freedom to choose a car is about as broad as a thimble. Vic P-plate restrictions are designed to keep the roads safer by limiting your ride options. For instance, P-plate drivers can't drive cars with an engine capacity over 160 kW for P1s, and 170 kW for P2s. Plus, no high-performance sports cars or V8 beasts allowed—you'll have to settle for the sensible hatchbacks and sedans.

These rules are strictly enforced, so if you’re hunting for compliant wheels, try tradingpost.com.au or carshowroom.com.au to avoid any nasty surprises. Remember, the restrictions aim to keep you safe and out of trouble, so pick wisely and enjoy the learning curve.
