vicroads custom number plate

Chasing a VicRoads custom number plate? Jump onto the VicRoads Custom Plates portal, pick a style, check your combo’s available, pay the fee, and wait for the postie.

Combinations must be legal and non-offensive, and the plates must match your vehicle’s registration details when fitted.

Styles vary (standard, slimline, Euro, and fancier designs), and so do costs and manufacturing times.

Transfers between vehicles or owners are possible in Victoria, but you’ll need the right forms and the rego squared away.

Fit them properly, keep the characters clean and visible, and resist the urge to cable-tie them on like a backyard artist.
