vicroads write off check Page 83

Looking to dodge a lemon? A VicRoads write-off check is your best mate when buying a used car in Victoria. It tells you if the vehicle has been declared a total loss by insurance, which usually means it’s been in a serious accident or flooding. You can get this info from VicRoads or through services like CarShowroom. Prices for these checks are usually modest, and they can save you from a world of headaches down the line. Always verify before you buy unless you enjoy unexpected repair bills and a car that’s more Frankenstein than automobile.
