In Australia the Volkswagen T‑Roc range is refreshingly simple: 110TSI Style (1.4‑litre turbo FWD, 8‑speed auto), 140TSI R‑Line (2.0‑litre turbo AWD, 7‑speed DSG), and the spicy T‑Roc R (2.0‑litre turbo AWD, 7‑speed DSG).

Outputs are roughly 110 kW/250 Nm for the Style, 140 kW/320 Nm for the R‑Line, and a thumping 221 kW/400 Nm for the R, all with proper driver aids and a digital cockpit thrown in.

The Style is your comfy commuter with lighter steering and FWD sensibility; the R‑Line adds 4MOTION grip, sport bits and sharper manners; the R turns the school run into a qualifying lap (please don’t).

Pick based on how often you see corners and how much you enjoy tyre bills. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
