waze vs google maps Page 2

Ah, the classic battle of navigation titans: Waze and Google Maps. Both owned by the same corporate overlord, yet their personalities couldn't be more different.

• Waze: Pros - Crowdsourced real-time traffic, police traps, and hazard alerts. Great for avoiding unexpected snarls. Cons - Can be a bit chatty and distracting with its social features.
• Google Maps: Pros - More polished with comprehensive mapping, public transport info, walking and cycling routes. Cons - Less focused on live user reports, so traffic updates can lag behind Waze.

Both have their charm and quirks; your choice depends on whether you prefer a social navigator or a sober cartographer. For Aussie roads, both are pretty handy companions. Check Tradingpost or CarShowroom forums for user discussions.
