The Welsh Terrier is a spirited little dog, often overshadowed by its flashier terrier cousins but no less tenacious. Height is about 36 cm, and weight hovers around 9-10 kg. These wiry-coated charmers are renowned for their bold, friendly personality and keen intelligence. They need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation or they'll unleash their inner chaos. Expect a coat that requires regular grooming to keep that trademark wiry finish. Prices for a Welsh Terrier pup in Australia typically range from $2,500 to $4,000 AUD, with used/adult dogs occasionally appearing on sites like PuppyList or Tradingpost. Consult breed clubs or vets for detailed health and care guidelines.
