what age can you drive in nsw

In New South Wales, you can start your driving journey at the ripe old age of 16 by obtaining a learner licence. This allows you to practice under supervision before hitting the open road solo. After holding your learner licence for at least 12 months (or 6 months if you’re 25 or older), you can take the test to get your provisional P1 licence. Then it’s another 12 months before you move to P2, and finally, a full licence after a total of 3 years.

Keep an eye on ServiceCentral for the latest rules and testing requirements, because the government loves a good update.
