what caravans are 100% australian made? Page 8

Short answer: virtually none are 100% Australian made, because fridges, air-cons, electronics and some running gear are sourced globally.

The good news is many brands design and build their bodies and chassis here—think Jayco, Avida, Bushtracker, Kedron, Crusader, Lotus, Track Trailer, Australian Off Road, and New Age.

They’re “Australian made” in the sensible sense: local factories, local frames, and local jobs, with imported appliances bolted in.

To verify, check the build/compliance plate for the manufacturer’s Australian address and ABN, ask for a component list, and look for the Australian Made logo or RVMAP participation.

Supply chains move faster than a roo at dusk, so always confirm the current spec with the builder or dealer before you thump down a deposit.

Shopping around? Tradingpost often lists locally built vans, and sellers will happily say how Aussie their pride and joy is—sometimes at pub-story length.
