Most countries drive on the right; that’s nearly all of the Americas (except Guyana, Suriname and some Caribbean nations), virtually all of continental Europe, and most of Asia and the Middle East.
Examples include USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, China, Russia, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, Egypt and Morocco.
The left‑lane holdouts are the usual suspects: Australia (that’s us), plus the UK, Ireland, Japan, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, New Zealand, South Africa and a smattering of others.
If in doubt, watch the traffic flow and road signs—or check which side the steering wheel’s on before you attempt a heroic exit from the rental car park.
