In chemistry, “Kw” usually means the ionic product of water—the equilibrium constant for water autoionising into H3O+ and OH−. At 25°C, Kw ≈ 1.0 × 10⁻¹⁴, which gives the neat party trick pH + pOH = 14. It increases with temperature because water gets a touch more enthusiastic about splitting when things heat up. If you meant “kW”, that’s kilowatts—power—not a constant, so that belongs with the hotplate, not the acid–base notes.
