what does success mean

Success is the ever-elusive beast that means wildly different things depending on whom you ask. For some, it’s the accumulation of wealth, fancy cars, and a house with a pool big enough to drown your regrets. For others, it might be the quiet satisfaction of having survived another day without losing their sanity—or their job. Philosophically speaking, success is often defined as the achievement of a set goal or the attainment of personal happiness. In the end, it’s a subjective trophy you pin on the wall of your own life, while everyone else debates its worth.
