what is not covered by hyundai warranty

Hyundai’s warranty in Australia is generous, but it won’t cover the stuff that wears out, gets abused, or falls outside the fine print.

• Normal wear and tear: brake pads, clutch linings, wiper blades, tyres, bulbs and fluids.
• Consumables and maintenance: filters, alignments, wheel balancing and scheduled servicing.
• Damage from misuse or neglect: overloading, racing, off-road shenanigans, poor maintenance, or modifications/non-genuine parts.
• Accident, environmental and cosmetic issues: hail, chips, bird bombs, cracked glass and trim or paint fading.
• Items with separate supplier warranties (like tyres) and anything outside time/kilometre limits.

EV batteries and some accessories have their own specific terms. Read Hyundai Australia’s warranty booklet for the exact exclusions before lawyering up.
