what make of car won bathurst 2023 Page 27

Chevrolet—specifically a Gen3 Camaro from Red Bull Ampol Racing—won the 2023 Bathurst 1000.

Shane van Gisbergen and Richie Stanaway hustled the #97 around Mount Panorama like it owed them money, and it paid up handsomely.

It was the first Bathurst of the Gen3 era, with the bowtie on the top step and the Mustang doing its best “next time” face.

Short version: Camaro roared, Ford snored, and the Mountain applauded.
