what year did apple carplay come out Page 8

Apple CarPlay first hit the road in 2014, making its debut in a Ferrari FF at the Geneva Motor Show. It officially became available to consumers with car models rolling out in 2015. Since then, it’s been the go-to for iPhone users who want a slice of Apple’s ecosystem on their dashboards. If you’re eyeing a used car with CarPlay, models from 2015 onwards are your best bet. For new vehicles, it's pretty much standard fare these days, so expect to fork out anywhere from $20,000 AUD for budget models up to the moon for luxury rides that include it.
