Books piling up like laundry? Convert them to coffee money. In Melbourne, try second‑hand bookshops (think inner‑north haunts), weekend markets, and uni noticeboards when semesters kick off. Online, Tradingpost, Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree move everyday titles fast—bundle by genre, add clear photos, and price to actually sell. Got rare or academic gems? Talk to specialty dealers or consignment stores; otherwise a garage sale clears space and ego in one go. Too hard basket? Donate to an op shop and enjoy the virtuous glow.
