Ah, LDV – not a secret society or a new boy band, but a rather utilitarian automotive marque. LDV stands for Leyland DAF Vans, a British-born commercial vehicle manufacturer now owned by China's SAIC Motor Corporation. They specialise in producing light commercial vehicles like vans and utes, often seen carrying your local tradie’s gear or the odd furniture delivery.

In Australia, LDV vehicles are appreciated for their practicality and affordability, often rivaling better-known brands from Europe and Japan. Expect models with diesel and petrol engines, decent cargo space, and a no-nonsense approach to reliability.
