who makes ldv ute Page 5

LDV utes are the brainchild of SAIC Motor Corporation, a hulking Chinese automotive giant with ambitions to muscle into Australia's ute market. These vehicles are essentially rebadged versions of other SAIC models, offering a budget-friendly alternative to the usual Japanese and Aussie stalwarts. Expect diesel and petrol engine options, a decent payload, and a surprising amount of kit for the price. New LDV utes typically start around $25,000 AUD, while used ones can be found cheaper across CarShowroom or Tradingpost. For the full specs and official details, you’d better check the company’s documentation—unless you fancy a punt at PuppyList for a second-hand bargain.
