The 2023 Bathurst 1000 was won by Shane van Gisbergen and Richie Stanaway in the #97 Red Bull Ampol Racing Chevrolet Camaro.

They bossed Mount Panorama with pace and pit-stop polish, making the Mountain look almost friendly—like a koala with brass knuckles.

It was another big tick for the new Gen3 Camaro, while the Mustangs spent the day grumbling about parity and plotting revenge.

If your favourite didn’t win, grab a meat pie, rewatch the closing stints, and practice saying “next year” with conviction.
