yaris recall

Yes, Toyota Yaris models have had recalls over the years—nothing like a surprise letter to brighten your Tuesday.

The quickest way to check yours is to run the VIN through Toyota Australia’s recall checker or search Product Safety Australia; both will tell you exactly what’s affected.

Common themes have included airbag inflators and various sensor/ECU gremlins, and recall work is done free of charge at authorised dealers.

If your car is listed, book it in promptly—this is safety kit, not an optional extra.

Still unsure? Call your Toyota dealer with the VIN and they’ll confirm what’s outstanding and organise the fix.
