A virtual Home Theatre system that is both powerful and compact, the S-301 was one of the most highly reviewed and awarded products of it's genre. It is an elegant and sophisticated home cinema solution designed to deliver a powerful soundstage without the clutter of five speakers. Dolby Virtual Speaker decoding is employed to give much of the surround effect of a much larger system from two compact speakers and a subwoofer. A high quality DVD/CD player is built into the attractive main unit and even plays superior quality Super Audio Compact Discs (SACD). A HDMI output is included for passing video to your HD TV. Denon's proprietry AL24 processing ensures that playback of CDs is a cut above the competition! But the S-301 isn t simply a compact AV system. It features iPod and USB terminals through which you can connect an iPod or iPod dock (not included) and gain full-on screen navigation and operation via Denon's remote control or front panel. It'll even charge your player while it's connected. Technically, the powerful 2 x 70watt amplifier allows the S-301 to shine in large rooms supported by the low frequency from its compact subwoofer.
