Easily the rarest of the entire Ducati 900 Supersport rage, the 1988/9 was also the first ever belt drive 900SS. Built when owned by Cagiva, the 900 ushered in many new design features such as the now legendary air/oil cooled 2 valve 904cc engine, the first six-speed transmission, fully-adjustable, 40mm Marzocchi upside down forks, adjustable Marzocchi mono-shock with progressive linkage rear suspension, and die-cast aluminium wheels.
