Chopin – Etudes, Op. 10- New Critical Edition (piano)

Chopin’s Études, Op. 10 are among the most important works in the piano repertoire, combining demanding technical studies with highly expressive musical writing.

This New Critical Edition from Edition Peters, edited by pianist and musicologist Roy Howat, uses the first French edition as its principal source while taking account of important revisions and variants from other surviving sources. The edition aims to provide a coherent performing text rather than simply combining readings from different sources.
