The 1925 Moto Guzzi 500 C4V is an extremely rare bike and was Italy’s first ever 500cc category race bike.

Released to the world in 1924, it was for some time one of the fastest 500 cc bikes in the world. Powered by 88 × 82 mm 4-valve over-head cam engine with 6:1 compression ratio, the bike initially produced 22 HP @ 5500 rpm.

Over the following years the engine was further developed and by 1927 the output had increased to 32 HP. This racer is equipped with “Gazda” sprung handlebars, Bosch magneto and Amac carburettor.

This extremely rare piece of Ital racing history is presently on display in the Barcelona museum in Barcelona, the bike comes with the original number plate, assorted historical documents, and Moto Guzzi historical certificate.
