nsw motorcycle p test Page 4

In NSW, your motorcycle P test is the MOST (Motorcycle Operator Skills Test) done during the Pre‑Provisional course—low speed finesse meets mild pressure and a clipboard. You’ll tackle cone weaves, a tight U‑turn, a controlled quick stop, and an obstacle avoidance swerve, all while doing proper head checks like you actually want to keep your licence. It’s about smooth clutch/throttle balance, looking where you want to go, and stopping without decorating the cones. Book with an approved centre, bring your Ls, proper gear, and a LAMS bike in good nick.

Practise parking‑lot drills until they’re boring—because boring equals consistent, and consistent equals a pass. Then ride off into the sunset at a dignified, legal pace.
